Do you like to swim in the summer time?

Yes, I love to swim in the summer time. We have an above ground pool in the back yard. I also love to swim in the lake. The lake is only 35 minutes from my house.🙂

There is a local river near us that we go to on occasion...but not as often as we'd like because it is a bit of a drive to get there (30-45 minutes from our house) and it is often crowded. We have to drive up to an hour or a little more to get to the more remote areas of it and then there is no guarantees that it won't be crowded there too when we have heat waves. There are a couple of small lakes in our area but they are usually packed with people in the summer too.

I live close to a river, the Ohio, but it is so polluted I wouldn't swim in it. There is a public swimming pool but too many small children. Fortunately there are some lakes not far away that offer very good swimming beaches and there is an excellent water park about an hour from me.
