Have you ever just hopped in the car and headed out on a multi day adventure?

The ex and I used to do that on weekends. We would get in the car and try to get lost. Getting lost took us to some very interesting places. Once we went far north, to northern New Hampshire to the tourist ski areas, and we should have stayed the night, but he didn't want to do that. We drove until 1 a.m. to get back home.

Only a few times as an adult. My husband doesn’t enjoy it as much as I do. However, this was my childhood. We would get in the car and drive 600 miles to Portland Oregon for a cup of coffee or down to Northern California to stare at the ocean for a few hours and drive home again. Most of our getting in the car and driving trips took us to the coast, but eastern Montana or all over western Canada were not uncommon either.

Yeah especially if I have lots on my mind. It is my favourite thing to do when I am faced with something that needs a good decision.

Not car but one of my Harleys, maybe a day trip, week adventure or month long excursion. Been up and down east coast several times. A run from Virginia to Texas and a longer run out to Sturgis SD
