Are there a lot of bugs around in the summer where you live?

SW-User
Yes. The mosquitoes are ridiculous around here. I feel like I donated a pint of blood this morning when I walked to the end of the driveway to get my newspaper.

@SW-User same here. I hate them.
SW-User
Yes! Especially this year since it's been so hot and humid.

I live in northern Indiana and I was hoping the Polar Vortex would kill off a lot of them. Unfortunately all the rain we’ve been getting has been making them pop out overtime.

Varies from year to year. Saw a 7 inch centipede the other night, bees, some wasps. Spiders are on the increase as far as visitors inside the house.
fallnhope · 36-40, F
Some years... This year there's lots of spiders and not many scorpions yet
daisymay · 51-55, T
Yes. Ants, grasshoppers, cicadas, mosquitoes, the list goes on and on
Myzery · 41-45, F
Oh yeah.
They're year round, really.
SW-User
Lots of mosquitoes
SW-User
Not an awful lot
PrincessPenny · 26-30, F
No, not at all.
SW-User
Not really. It doesn’t get hot enough consistently on the coast for that. My friends who live inland, where it gets very hot, see more water bugs and beetles during summer.
