The Ariel thing also kinda trips me out...
Because the original movie was a betrayal of the real character. Ariel lost the prince. He married someone else. Then she killed herself.

@MalteseFalconPunch i got to admit.. i was a little shocked that hansel and gretel killed the witch..that was going to eat them instead of escaping..
