When you board a plane do you worry about crashing or the plane ending up missing?

@DonotInboxMe aww 🤗 thanks for BA

No. Statistically speaking driving to the airport is more dangerous than the plane ride.
DonotInboxMe · 26-30, F
@Shayla really?lol
Shayla · F
@DonotInboxMe Yep. I mean, planes are checked over between each flight. Pilots have a ton of training.
How often are random cars checked for safety issues? How many hours do drivers spend training a year? How many drivers have a second driver with a second steering wheel and pedals in the vehicle just in case something goes wrong?

People die in car crashes all over the world every day. The same cannot be said for airplane accidents.

Either, is so remote a possibility.
Its just not worth worrying about.
My usual air journey is approximately 50 minutes long...between two Australian cities.
Flying our airline.
Not a single fatality in 70 years.

Dying while typing this.

Is thousands of times more likely

@Vetrov those two last sentences 😂😂
