It will tax consumption, not production. It won't hamper business and jobs growth anywhere near as much payroll taxes. It will greatly simplify the tax system. It will kill off all subjective tax policies and loopholes. It will take power away from the IRS. And it will greatly reduce the jockeying and lobbying in the tax system.
