How many people here do you think really are who they say they are, and act as how they would in real life?

I'd guess only 20 - 30%. Even that might be too high.

I am exactly who I say I am (with the exception of the anonymous username of course)… and I am pretty much the same in real life as I am online. I do not see the point in trying to be any other way.

@indyjoe you're one of the people that I believe to be honest

@SuperMachoNerdMan Thank you, that is a very nice compliment.

There's almost no way we can know who someone fully is, based on words and images. So much is missing, or misconstrued, or projected or falsely portrayed, or.....

I think many come here to live in fantasy or behave in ways they can't or don't in RL.

There is no real way of determining this and really, doesn't bother me. I have no intention of meeting them in real.

@SW-User I guess my issue is believing in what people say. I don't know, for the most part people are honest about their opinions and are probably more likely to say what they really think, even if they wouldn't in real life

@SuperMachoNerdMan I do not pay attention to who someone is because it is irrelevant. I pay attention to what they add. How they can help my mind or thinking or any such objective generic shares. It stops it mattering whether people are real or not.
