...is it normal for spiders to be able to climb glass?

It's straight up. And the spider climbed it. How unexpected.

Don't know, but probably - as long as they can hook their web I don't think the surface matters much. They like dark places so glass would be an unexpected place in some way, but we also like to put glass where we don't expect light.

that will it keep it for some time, scared of spiders? @GlitterBug

No, my cat will eat it and I'm trying to figure out what it is. I'd rather not lose it yet is all. Very fast little arachnid. @SW-User

@GlitterBug Then you have a treat for your cat ...

Lots of spiders have hooks on the end of their feet, which allow them to cling to and climb stuff.

@GlitterBug The residue would definitely give the spider something more to latch onto lol

@monimathu A spider can climb on soft things(such as curtains, clothing, etc) and residue. Nothing bars a spider from doing so.

Before, you insisted that glass is smooth with no irregularities when it's actually not.

Are you just saying 'whatever'? What's your deal?

Yes its expected.

Think about velcro, now think about those hairs on a spider/insect.

Now imagine these hairs work on most surfaces.

You can plug the holes with vasaline or something.
Yeah, those mfs occasionally punk me while I’m driving. It’s a shit storm hauling 80 down the highway and being unsure if the spider is INSIDE or outside of the car glass. Lol

It's gonna blow your mind when u see one on the ceiling. Upside down and still able to run 😱
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
Lol. The wall is textured, every spider I've ever put in a smooth glass hasn't been able to climb it. @NeloAngelo
