It's funny to see the differences from places to places. Here in small village u can have a big cocktail for 4-5€ if you go to the city you pay 8€ or even 12€ for the same, 20€ in some club.
In Venice you can pay expensive shit, but I also know some place doing small cocktails for just 1€
I remember that in many places a cocktail in London meant a small glass full of ice and some drops of alcohol XD, way less than we have here. With less I mean 1/3 or worse.
Also it was generally around 12£ (about 16-18€ before the Brexit shit) or even more XD.
I stopped drinking cocktails when I lived in London, I used to drink a lot of beer. 1.70£ for a bottle of San Miguel wasn't bad at all LOL.

Have a few before you leave.
You'll get your buzz on before you start having to pay silly money.

A cocktail is £12 in London and worse than that....a large glass of cold white wine in Bergen is 15 euros

@sarahcupcake That's why I didn't have cocktails in London hehehe.
Wine is another pair of hands, some wine can be extremely expensive. In the restaurant where I worked the most expensive glass of wine was a18£, the bottle was more than 100 and in many restaurants of The City they keep very expensive bottles for their customers so they can potentially serve a glass for 100 or more pounds LOL.
Of course over a certain price is just crazy shit for rich idiots.
