@BiblicalWarrior Okay. I used to be a Seventh Day Adventist and I would say this all the time on Saturday.

@SW-User there are several commandment keeping religions besides the Adventist ,though they are the most famous
Keeping the Sabbath on the 7th day was instituted by God at creation ,Kept by Christ and Paul
and no where was anyone told to change it

We were warned a man would ,,but it wasn't God

And now the false prophets have convinced the world the Commandments ended at the cross ,,when Col 2 is not even about the commandments ,,its about the book of law written by Moses ,,but they can give you a million scripture to say we no longer need to observe the 10
satan is good at his job

They should know what they are talking about before they try to teach

Deut 31:24 And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of [quote]writing the words of this law in a book[/quote],

until they were finished, 25 that Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying,

26 Take [b]this book of the law,[/b]

and [quote]put it in the side of the ark of the covenant[/quote]

(10 commandments (broken tablets .inside the ark ,the book of law in a pocket outside the ark )of the Lord your God

[quote]that it may be there for a witness against thee.[/quote]

27 For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the Lord; and how much more after my death?

Now compare this to Colosians 2 ,the scripture they use to say the commandments were nailed to the cross

Col 2: 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the [b]uncircumcision of your flesh[/b],

(no circumcisions in the 10 )

hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

14 blotting out the [b]handwriting of ordinances[/b] that was [b]against us, which was contrary to us[/b], and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 and having [b]spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.[/b]

The book of law was for a testament against the Jews ,the 10 are now written on the hearts of those who love the Lord

16 Let no man therefore [b]judge you in meat, or in drink[/b], (nothing about eating or drinking in the 10 but there is a church that tells you which days you can eat meat )

or in [b]respect of an holyday[/b], or of the [b]new moon[/b], or of the sabbath day[b]s[/b]:
(feast days were also called sabbath days )

17 [b]which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.[/b] (the feast days all pointed to Christ and did end at the cross ,,Christ was the last acceptable sacrifice )

18 Let [b]no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility[/b]
and [b]worshipping of angels[/b],
[quote]intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
[/quote]
19 [b]and not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God[/b].

[b]This Church is imposing its traditions ,not the commandments of God ,,in fact this says they are not taking their examples from Christ at all ,,the things they do are from the imaginations of men ,,not God ,,like altering Gods commandments [/b]


20 Wherefore [quote]if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world[/quote],

(buried in Christ because you are born again )


why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, 21 (touch not; taste not; handle not; 22 which all are to perish with the using;)[b] after the commandments and doctrines of men[/b]? 23 which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in[b] will worship[/b], and [b]humility[/b], and [b]neglecting of the body[/b]; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

This is a warning about a Church ,,not the abolishing of the 10 commandments as so many say

I know you did not ask for all this ,,but hopefully it can explain why so many still observe the Sabbath made Holy by God and not the pagan counterfeit that has replaced Gods

There is not one scripture ,not one mention of changing the Sabbath anywhere in the Bible ,,not by Christ nor by Paul or it ever ending ,,that is a lie false prophets sneaked into the church ,,Christ warned us would happen and so did Daniel
Dan 7:25
In fact Christ warned in 70 ad ,,Rome would use the Sabbath Day against anyone trying to flee persecution by them on the Sabbath Dad (God made a way His people got away )

I am a Born Again Son of God ,,reproofing the error of men that is leading my Brothers and Sisters to stray

A man changed Gods laws as foretold by Daniel
The doctrine you keep speaking of is for those who love milk
the carnal minded ,,and the spiritual ,,meat of the word is foolishness to them
When God says something over and over ,,He means for you to listen ,,,120 times He says in one fashion or another keep my commandments
It shows we have fellowship with Him
It shows we love Him
It is the seal of God
I taught the same stuff you keep saying myself
Until God showed me I was wrong

All scripture is inspired by God ,,
for correction .edification and reproof

If its all finished ,,then no one can be lost
and this is worthless

He gave us all a clean slate ,,we are not cursed because of Adam ,,now your sin is your own
Sin is to willfully break the commandments of God
and the Sabbath is the only one that deals with time
(Dan 7:25 )will still be observed in Heaven
And He said Remember it ,,and Keep it Holy

If a fallen religion had not altered it
we would not even be having this conversation

How you chose to serve God is one thing
Telling others Gods commandments not longer matter
That a whole other story ,,that is satans lie

Not one jot or one tittle of the Law and the Prophets will end as long as heaven and earth remain and ALL Prophecy is fulfilled ,,then it will be finished

I was just as stubborn about this doctrine ,all I need to do is call on Jesus and thats it ,,it cost me when God said enough was enough and I wouldn't listen
I was opposing Him ,and leading His sheep astray

You can keep Sunday holy if you choose ,,the pagans have for thousands of years ,Pagan Rome did ,,finally Christian Rome did too when a Pagan Emperor enforced it by law
He also worshiped the sun ,,,not the SON

He said he was spoken to by God ,,his works shows he lied

@BiblicalWarrior they don't get its finished was the end of the first covenant ,God in the most holy place and yearly sacrifices ,as Daniel said ,they broke the covenant when they crucified the Messiah ,
So when the veil was torn into ,that signified God was no longer in there ,,their temple was empty
but He gave them 3 1/2 more years to study the scripture and repent ,,then the Gospel was going to the dogs ,the Gentiles too ,,
He came to His people first ,and they knew Him not
So the only way to end the first covenant was with Blood
But they don't want to hear ,the actual day of atonement will only be for those who endure till the end and their names remain in the book of life
and then once ,,at the end of this world
when all have died once
then He will go into the heavenly temple and make atonement for His and His alone
If that blood gave us all a free ticket ,,then no one would be lost ,we would not have to repent anything
we would not need to know anything
or flee from sin
The Gospel of John was not written until almost 40 yrs after the cross ,and his letters even later and the revelation of Christ later then that
This doctrine that was meant for babes until they were ready to be born again ,its all the church today wants to hear
The did not care a church ,that was given its power by satan has fooled them ,,,and it was so long ago ,no one cares
But God does ,,,I can't stop them from taking the image of the beast or accepting his mark ,,all I can do is keep trying to warn them ,,
I am only accountable to tell them ,,
I am not called to make them like it
if they quit grieving the Holy Spirit .
He can tell them like He told me .I was opposing God
I was keeping traditions and doctrines of men
His word makes it clear what His will is if your not to stubborn and religious to see it
They have a form of Godliness ,,but deny the power there of
and try and rebuke the ones who try to reproof their error
all I can do is pray when they see Sunday enforced by law
the will know God does not work this way
and we will be criminals ,and no longer able to buy ,sell or trade ,,Like the Jews ,,Rome will attempt to starve us into submission
When the last plagues begin and they have not been raptured or sealed ,,then they will know ,,but it will be to late

I used to Mock the Adventist and try to teach them this same stuff they now try to tell me
Its sad to think of how hard headed I was
I was warned by another man to not even try to make liars out of them ,they know their bibles and they fully understand prophecy ,,I wasted 7 yrs to find out he was right and my doctrine was built on sand
all lies taught to me by men I called Mighty men of God
who will one day be accountable for all the souls they led to sin and oppose God
I am thankful God stopped me ,,even if it did cost me everything before I would listen
