Why is life so confusing?

I wanted to lose weight before the summer hits, so I've done some calorie restrictions. If I don't have enough calories, I always wake up in the middle of the night, I've noticed this pattern a while back. What are my options what can I eat if I wake up suddenly that's light and easy to digest!

The Oatmeal one is a good idea.
I've been on a restricted diet since the start of the year.

I have no problem with it other than the fact I try really hard not to eat rubbish after about 7pm.

I found I was going to bed fine but waking at about 3 in the morning with my stomach rumbling.

Oatmeal or Porridge is quick to make and easy to digest and won't lay heavy on your stomach.
@Picklebobble2 Thank you 🤗

Oatmeal. It's filling.
@HannahSky does this happen to you sometimes? Or it's just me. If I have a nice full dinner I sleep all night!

@RadiantRuby It does. If I don't eat well at night I don't sleep well at all.
What's your daily caloric deficit? 🤔 Might be too big
@BeefySenpie I'm 100% sure it's not too big! If anything it's too little!
Celery, or carrot sticks... negative energy and very very low calorie..

I have sugar free jelly as it fills me up and has hardly any calories
