I think for me it is somewhat true...but mostly it's because I have always noticed and paid attention to things that most people take for granted, overlook, or just ignore. Doesn't make me better than anyone else, just more observant in many cases.
Yeah, I think we each hold a unique perspective.

I don't know. Maybe that would explain why people find it hard to understand me.

@SW-User what's hard to understand about you?
SW-User
@dark548 i don't find it hard to understand me. People do. And I could not possibly answer why. I don't know it.

@SW-User I think you're a bit like me, you see the underlying, below the surface facade. Just my thoughts, I could be wrong.

@silkandlace ohh so would you say today's political scene is very different from history and what you have experiences throughout your life? Or is it nothing new?
silkandlace · 46-50, M
@dark548 totally, i can't even fathom it; keep in mind my age; i grew up in the Reagan years, unbelievably positive,, till the Iran-Contra thing, though at that age i didn't really get it; still such a positive era, then into Bush 1, and even Clinton era, but now?? Even Bush2 wasn't scathed like this!!! My bottom line is, where did we fall into apologizing for being the greatest Nation in the world? How could this happen?
dark548 · M
@silkandlace internet maybe
