What do you suggest?

I'm an amateur writer. I'd like to write a comedy series or sitcom based mostly in a hotel. Amazon used to take unsolicited scripts, but now they don't. Not sure how I could get this started
Have a look at this, it may be helpful to you.

@EugenieLaBorgia lol you always have an answer for me for any question I ever post! Lol are you one of those people that know a little about everything?
@swandfriends Well, I've always believed that being of service to our fellow men and women is the most valuable possession we have.
Watch Faulty Towers but be careful of ripping it off subconsciously.

Best thing to do is work in the industry (but from experience you really don't want to lol) and take from the experience.

I've been working hotel front desk for over 20 years and I love it
@swandfriends then you have the material at least! I work in a small one and the boss makes it very very difficult the last year. I think he's having a breakdown or something.

Put it this way.. I'm supposed to be the chef but end up on the bar front desk and maintanence these days too.

Not that I'm bitter about it 😂

Lol it does seem like men in hotels get tossed around here and there doing other jobs

There are successful people who make appearances all the time. Producers, screenwriters, even directors, usually at film screenings. They can be approachable or take live questions from the audience. THOSE are the people you want to talk to.
