An odd thing to say. Perhaps, it is because the ones that you have observed have been surrounded only by vacuous ninnies who spend all their time twiddling with their hair and eyebrows, smothering themselves in cheap, Chinese shop perfume and store-bought clothing by the kilo. My own observance has seen men demonstrate great courtesy and a preference for long courtships rather than scour the plethora of skanky goldiggers who often seem to surround them.

There are plenty of shallow males & females. Just don't let yourself be one of them by making generalizations.

I can't speak about ALL men, or ALL of you but I have seen shallowness in you many times. And I am sure it can exist in me.

Other than that, most of your suffering seems to be of a psychological nature, which is hell.
