Is there any empirical data to show that the south is more inbred?

I have lived here all my life and are two cities away from tiger ridge, which is rumored to be the most inbred place in the deep south. I have NEVER met anyone into incest or even heard a story... I think it's just a lame stereotype with little to no basis in reality.
