Are most kids unapologetic?

I spoke my mind a lot and my parents told me I was a brutally honest child. When they told me what I said I was like, "I can't believe I said that. I'm still brutally honest but I use tact. I'm not afraid to call someone out of their bullshit even if they're butt hurt. I'm still going to be honest.
