Was EP better than SW ?

In many ways EP was in fact better than SW. For instance I had made more acquaintances and friends on EP than I have ever made here on SW. On EP the site gave one a chance to be involved directly with the site. Here on EP one seems to get the feeling that one is simply a user of the site.

@allsfinebime2 That's interesting. I wonder how in EP you feel more than a user? I have not used EP but hear from many that EP was better.

@Neena EP had a volunteer program where one could greet new members as well as to be sort of a guide for it's new members.

To answer more fruitfully, EP's structure made more sense and it wss easier to browse and interact with people by groups. It probably had 10x the population, particularly because it had an app.

SW has a few great features like embedding, gifts, and some minor quality of life improvements. Site structure is a mess. It also has better moderation and creep protections (which are still not nearly enough).

I think the community first and foremost makes the place and i loved EP for that (i met good people) but i was so young then so i didnt appreciate anything else 😂 i think SW is better, even without a kitkat vending machine and the gestures.

It was the quality of people on EP.. it was less photos and more expressions.. but towards the end came a lot of teenagers who made a mess of the place.. and jumped over to SW.. SW has come a long way now as I get to meet matured souls ..
