does the scarcity of resource/the resrictions of trade of that resource cause resistence/conflict cause fighting/war?

realistically is not lack of resource, the cause of suffering?; the cause of fighting; for that resource?

Not often in the modern world. Most wars today are fought primarily over ideals. The Syrian Civil War is eastern autocracy vs western-style democracy vs Islamic Fundamentalism. The Mexican Drug War is fought over the right of drug dealers/users to exist. The Ukrainian Conflict is caused by differences in national identity (specifically, Ukrainian versus Russian). The list goes on.

I think it's a little bit simpler - greed and desire would cause war than the item itself. If a person didn't desire something else then it wouldn't matter how common or uncommon that item is.

Lies cause war. War is the only solution to a foe that seeks to destroy you with words that I will term as, the most dangerous silent weapons known to humanity.
