Do u find it hard to celebrate ur bday?

Getting older is not for sissies! Lol! To me...it’s another year of chances to get it right!

I think I enjoyed celebrating it more when I was younger, until sometime in my early 30's. Somewhere along the line, it just became a reminder to me that yet another year had gone by without me accomplishing anything meaningful. I've gotten to the point where I would rather celebrate milestones than birthdays. I guess the fact that I'm still alive is something, but I want to do something more than just put in time. That's what people do in prison, not what we're supposed to be doing with our lives.

But I like your way of looking at it. By the way, I just had my birthday yesterday. So I guess this is another chance to get it right. Wish me luck, and best wishes to you also!

I like to acknowledge it and have it acknowledged, but I don't make a really big deal out of it. It's just another day for the most part for me and it helps me remember my age (in case someone asks). Sometimes I like to do something a little different or special in commemoration of it, but it hasn't been a big thing for me for decades.

Don't usually have a big celebration but last year was different and it was nice.
Yes... Very difficult... I'd rather a small dinner for two, or three friends..
it beats the alternative - most days

There's only one birthday in life and that's when You turn one.

Rest are useless and only an excuse for parties
