Does cookie dough ice cream have raw cookie dough in it?
I'm thinking of buying some for my pregnant friend tomorrow, there's a really good gourmet one, I'm visiting tomorrow!

We asked that question at a tour of an ice cream company, the eggs in the cookie dough for the ice cream have been pasteurized.

Some of the brands use 'dough' that has no egg in it at all, it just tastes and has the texture of cookie dough. It's all safe.
