Just came back from the Dollar Tree. Got a pack of barrettes, a drink, two glass heart-shaped bowls and a three pack of travel containers for five dollars and 27 cents.

Yes for some things. Usually the cleaning products are diluted though so not those. They have bargains on stationary, some hygiene items, paper goods, party stuff, misc. Since Walmart has gotten too big for it’s britches I like to shop at their competitors as much as I can.

Don’t you mean they probably should “not” shop there? That’s confusing because the article states that shopping at the dollar store or stores costs more money in the long run. @Spoiledbrat

@Spoiledbrat No it says that when times are tight and prices rise in regular stores, it pays to shop at cheaper places.
But when times are good, it pays to shop at regular stores as you get more for your money there.

Yes but it can be handy when one doesn’t need a lot. I have to budget all year to able to buy in bulk. I can’t slack off or I’ll find myself shopping at dollar stores too and I don’t like giving my money away. @Picklebobble2
