A majority of us can't even speak to them (in PM) because our accounts are marked adult for reasons as simple as using profanity. And those kids are likely better off for it.

Yes, I remember being in my early teens when navigating EP...

I was met with a lot of kindness and wisdom, but these kids seem to overstep their respects.

Nobody wants to entertain a sexualized adolescent, nobody sane at least.

I keep my distance from them because I know they will call the fbi on anyone easily for saying "hello" but if there posts weren't about sex and their "friends" weren't 45 and over then maybe I would interact

There should be more designated support for them but that might be expensive. I think this site tried to copy EP as best it could when it started and even EP didn’t help out the young teens.

I would feel bad for them if I could actually see them and know what they're going through. But I don't even see anyone under 18 in my feed at all. So I guess they've all blocked me. And I'm afraid I have a hard time feeling bad for anyone who blocks me.

Yeah, my teenage years were rough too, but at least when I was a teenager I didn't jump to conclusions about people I didn't even know. I wouldn't have blocked someone I had never interacted with before.
