Hows your weather?

Historic flooding here in Nebraska

Winds have died down and it was pleasant, not quite as warm as I like it...the ground is wet from the nearly 2” rain we got this week...thank God not very windy.

@cherokeepatti we got 6 inches, on top of the 18 inches of snow on the ground. missouri, platt and elkhorn rivers all at record flood stages

@mrmoose That snow melt alone can cause flooding, a lot of rain added to the saturated soil..yikes.

Flooding here in Wisconsin as well, though none near me, thank goodness.

@Byron8by7 @Byron8by7 there are whole cities flooded,or cut off. mandatory evacuations in effect,it hasen't peaked yet

@mrmoose I can relate. I survived a catastrophic flood in North Dakota in 2011. Snow melt was a factor then as well. It was not as sudden, and we knew it was coming.
