I had iPhone when they first came out, right up to iPhone 5. Never again, there's NO value in paying more for an iPhone, fuck Apple.

Because of marketing. Parts of the iPhone are made by Samsung anyway along with shared parts from other Android phone manufacturers. But Apple learned well from Microsoft that it doesn't matter if you have a good product or not, if you market it well, everyone will want it.

A mobile phone used to be a status symbol in the early 90’s. I don’t know where you live but it’s not a special thing to own any kind of phone around here. Who doesn’t have a smartphone these days?

I don't think they are. They cost $1000 and the cost is usually spread over a period of time. You could work in McDonald's and afford one
