Do you feel the era which we are living in is beyond madness?

Political correctness, Social media, Media/News under the control of pseudointellectuals who debate and argue/twisting the facts to fuel their perspective as right about everything while leaving common sense out of the equation. Nothing is simple anymore, everyone is wrong, everyone has opinions, everyone is equipped with knowledge to evaluate and pass judgement on every subject. This white noise always in the background do affect you and leave you with the question

Governments have lost control.

They spent centuries telling us what to do, what to think, who to hate, who to align with, who to trust, what to buy.....

And then along comes social media and people start to talk to each other and we discover they've been lying to us all along !

@Bagalamaga No,as someone who has spent a large part of their life with an acute interest in such things,and has also spent far more time taking the trouble to look a little deeper than what the media would have us believe,I have found there are many,many instances of conspiracies,and further,I also have my own experiences to relate to,which are priceless in what they confirm to me.Associating little green men dancing round camp fires (blue) and grouping it with the face on Mars is really nothing other than an attempt to ridicule by association,which is pathetic.
