Islamophobic Terrorist attack over here in NZ

so yeah, NZ just got hit by an extremely Islamophobic attack, they are saying like 40 dead, many more injured . Down in Christchurch NZ.

Im sure many who are impacted already know, but this is just my 2 cents incase someone whos effected by this doesnt know.

this is probably one of the worst terrorist attacks in NZ history. the attacks were focused on Mosques.

Everybody refused to call it a terrorist attack because the attackers were white (Three males & one woman suspected) but NZ PM has just declared it a terrorist attack.

Other than that, I feel like griping a bit about how on SW everybody is only waking up to it happening hours after, I wonder if we'll be getting "guys guys have you heard are you safe!" two weeks from now. Can people be any more self-obsessed?

@Faust76 Im only posting this now because we were only just now given most of the information, Im posting this because i feel its the right thing to do , to make sure the news is spread to anyone that could be effected that maybe doesnt access normal news sources

I can tell you now this is the worst terror attack. We've only had like 5 ever so it's pretty easy to see it's the worst

@HeWhoLaughs I'm in Wellington. Police had to do sweeps of every Mosque in the region and many have been sent to Chch to help provide aide to the area. It really isn't a good time too coz cops already were gonna have their hands full this weekend with St Paddy's Day
