What's the best college major in your opinion?

Or courses that somebody absolutely needs to take.
Sicarium · 46-50, M
If you're not in STEM or want to teach whatever subject at a university level, college is a waste of time and money.
Dan193 · 31-35, M
@Sicarium That's why I'm asking, to figure out the majors that are actually practical and you could get a job in that field afterwards.

Assuming you dont have something special in mind like engineering or Medicine, I suggest studying business management. Everything is a business these days and no matter what else you end up doing, understanding how business filters into your profession will always stand you in good stead.

@whowasthatmaskedman Tbh, that's a bs major, you could look that up online. I was thinking more in terms of a practical major that could get u a stable and well paid job. Because nobody is going to make you a manager or an administrator as soon as you come out of college, just because you got a degree in business.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Dan193 No. But any industry you choose to work in from entry level will soon promote a trained manager. And I did specify, if you had no clear direction at this point.

I recommend looking at want ads, then specialize in what they're asking for.
@trackboy Trump is doing wonders for the job market all over the country.
trackboy · 22-25, M
@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays I would be poor if I was not doing stripper work. that is one of the few good jobs here. 😺😺
@trackboy Trump is helping strippers. Trump is helping the sex industry. People are fucking more and more under Trump -- and paying good money for a good fuck!! Way better than the Obama days. Obama did shit for fucking and the sex industry. But now everybody is fucking and taking out their wallets for a long, hard fuck.

I would say medicine.

I'm doing a joint degree in English and Psychology, because I enjoy it personally. I would say no degree is pointless but there are much better opportunities within the science degrees.
