I hope part of the solution
I have helped a lot of people in my life
A place to stay ,a hot meal ,rides to work ,,help them get a job if they didn't have one ,,anfd I pushed them to get self reliant ,,I am not an enabler ,no one ever carried me ,,I didn't carry my kids ,
I make everyone that asks me for help get a diploma ,,you can't get a good job without one ,,I prefer the real thing ,,but a few have went with the GED
I have helped people go to college ,,I know of programs that will help and I provide a place to stay ,and rides to and from the college until they get their own cars ,
My Kids are now the same way
They volunteer at the mission every holiday ,,take hot meals to 125-150 shut ins
and now my Grandkids love doing it too
They raise the standard in their school ,manners and respect are required
Now other kids are getting on board too ,,staying in school ,helping in our community
I know I brag on them a lot ,,,but other then here I don't have to
People are always telling me how proud I should be ,,and telling me I did a good job ,,,They are my world ,,but I pray we make God proud
He is who we represent ,,not me

I'm the disappointing side affect. 😞

Problem, because like everyone else, I’m only interested in what affects my personal self absorbed life and how I can benefit myself
