How do I hide one person on my Facebook friends list?

There is a mutual friend of my boyfriend and I who we want to hide on our Facebook friend list...to stop another friend seeing him (as they had a fall out). Is this possible, to hide just one friend without hiding the whole list?

I think you'd have to put the person you don't want to see the friend on Restricted and select a setting that doesn't let them see any of your friends.
