Ubereats is literally so confusing.

Okay, so I live JUST outside the range it delivers to right? Which is annoying but yeah, itll reach me soon. Anyways I went to the subway that's in the townI live in and there was the 'ubereats pick up here' sign thing. And so I asked the chick at subway if it delivers to where I live now and she said it doesnt, they only pick up the food they still dont deliver food. ??????????
Honestly I dont really care about ubereats, but does this not make sense to anyone else? They pick up food from the town I live in, but wont deliver.

Sounds like the Uber people are eating everyone's food. I hope people aren't tipping him.

They measure how many orders they think they'll get from an area before extending to that area - that's a separate function from what places they'll do pickup from. If your area is too poor and/or dangerous* for drivers, then it won't pay Ubereats to extend delivery to that area, even if occasionally one of their drivers is in that area.

* actually dangerous or just having a bad rep
