Why do you think SW put a “people” tab if people don’t use it?

I use it quite often to see who's online.

A lot of people seem to use it just to find people to randomly message 😂

I click it to see if there are any people I don't know

I use it sometimes, if I want to look for someone I haven't talked to in a while and see if they'e been around lately.

And yes, some people will use it to see who is logged on because they're looking for someone to message, hoping for an immediate response.

Is it so users can see who wants to be shown as “online”?

I’m sure many are clicking that icon.
