@BalmyNites Yes, Stollen is a typical Crhristmas cake.
The mother of a close friend of mine, from the German community in my country, use to bake them all year and to send me some frequently.

But my friend´s mother is a kind provider!

My mother´s side of the family came from UK on ther early XIX century (from Scotland and York).
So I kept a bunch of récipes of such origin.
