Should I be offended when my aunt said I look so big in my picture?

She noticed that I'm getting bigger in my legs and it isn't healthy. She flat out told me, "Why are you getting so big? What have you been eating. Tell me so I can help you." I was embarassed. I am 234lbs plus I'm 5'10. I've been trying to lose weight but it's so hard. I asked hee what she though about my picture. She said, "You look so big in this picture." I waz hoping she said I look beautiful. She said that I always look beautiful and she dont need to tell me that and she said I could lose some weight. I know I do but thwt hurts
Your Aunt could care less about you - she rather boost herself up or her kids and belittle you. You are of age to see whether you are getting big or not. You are not a kid that someone has to tell you about your weight. Nope this is a vengeful lady. Just distance yourself from her and people like her - unless you like to be treated that way.
@EmotionalMotherlessWoman1988 I will talk about you aunt anyway I feel -

Aww 🤗 I never understand people, family or not who feel they have to comment on someone's weight, you are probably beautiful as you are. At 5'10 that isn't such a big weight. Please don't take it to heart sometimes people can be bitter for reasons unknown

@JammieDodgerHeart Her being tall isn't an excuse. 234 is NOT healthy for her. She needs to lose weight. Just saying

No- A camera puts "10" lbs on you-you know that? And if you photograph someone using a 35mm film camera, straight on, when the image is done, it looks like their eyes are following you!

@soar2newhighs No one wants to be cruel and I agree the camera can make you look a bit plumper but the hard facts are that a woman who is almost 17st and 5' 10" tall is very overweight.

I'm a medium build guy and I'm just over 200lbs and 6' 3" tall so maybe she has a point even if it sounds cruel

@EmotionalMotherlessWoman1988 Maybe her heart is better than her timing ?? I'm sure from what you said about her that she is just really just concerned for you
She is concerned about you. It can feel awkward, but she cares about you.

@VeronicaJane Plus it's better if her aunt was blunt about her weight than to sugar-coat it and then her getting bigger.

She cares about you that's why. It's better if she was honest and straight up than sugar-coat and then you getting bigger.

@EmotionalMotherlessWoman1988 Yes. Most people dont understand this unless they are overweight & how this problem irritates an overweight person
Well unless you're underweight it never hurts to lose weight
seems like your aunt is starting her trip down senile lane.
