Do you hate being confronted at?

It's like when something goes wrong my cousins always comes to me and confront what I did wrong or dumb. I know it was but I hate being called put. When they do something irritating I don't confront them. I just brush it off. They told me, "It doesn't matter if we're family. If we do Something irritating confront us. Quit being so nice all the damn time. 24/7 that won't get you anywhere."
It's uncomfortable being called out. My mom said "Throughout life we're going to feel uncomfortable and hurt. Life isn't rainbows and happiness all the time. Quit crying and move on."
