Why am I so lazy about working out?

I know I need to lose weight but I end up being lazy and unmotivated. I told myself I'm going to be serious about my health and weight loss but I'm getting lazy and making excuses to not work out. I work everyday from 7:30 to 3:30 or sometimes at 4pm-4:30 when we have a staff meeting. I don't make new years resolutions to lose weight anymore because I'm always failing. My best friend was right. Making new years resolutions are a waste of time and I'm just getting myself for failure. She is support of me trying to lose weight but she said I need to get it together and take it more seriously and stop making excuses, wake up and see the reality. Maybe I should give up weight loss with my 232lbs 5'10 self.

Have you tried starting out small? Maybe with just one hard 10 minute workout a day?

Well no, but if you start out small you’ll eventually find it easier to find the motivation to workout for longer periods of time @EmotionalMotherlessWoman1988

Start small.Learning to workout consistently is more effective than starting large but not making it a habit.
