@SW-User It's a rational idea. It prevents incest, promotes good relations between family groups, helps disperse new ideas and discoveries...many hunter gatherer groups discovered in the 19th century were still living this way.

Ogmagog would sit at the fire munching on a bone and his brothers' daughter would walk by looking good, and he would reach out and grab her and then....date over. Whole thing takes 1 minute 30 seconds.
