Do you think who you are in highschool carries onto your adult life?

For example in highschool I was the weird loner kid. I just transitioned into the weird loner type adult.
To a degree. Our past always help define who we are!

But as we go out into the world , either as workers, soldiers, or furthering education we become our own person and develop our own sense of "self" and "self being". Even our self worth changes. Gone are the trappings of youth.

However at reunions one can never escape who they were in HS. The class clown is still that and so on. The nicknames you had that were placed on you all come back. It is as if time was suspended and you went back to it--albeit older in years.

Part of who you were difintely carries onto your entire life.

No, but quite likely the ones who saw you that way in high school will see you that way now quite often despite if you have changed.

No. The kids at “the top” don’t stay that way into adulthood.

@SW-User typically they are the ones who peaked in highschool and it's all downhill from there.
SW-User
@Neurotoxin Sad because they don’t know it at the time.

Not in most cases, but maybe some.
