When you get yelled at for trying to explain that several doesn't mean seven... Can I just die now?

Me: "The dog has bitten me several times now..." Her: "He didn't bite you seven times." Me: "Several doesn't mean seven..." Her: "Are you calling me stupid? Several- Seven. Why would it be called SEVeral if it's not seven" Me: "No, that's not how it works..." Her: *starts screaming*

Several means more than one or a few...any number can apply (or it can be an unspecified number). What's so hard to understand about that?

@NaturallyPeculiar 🤷‍♂️ maybe you could tell her to google the meaning of several... otherwise I'd just let her believe what she wants and ignore it if I were you.
