@DefiantHeart when my husband got his first revolver I tried shooting from the hip but never even landed a target. Old West movies made this look way easier then it is.

@JaneDoeEyes It's easier for me to shoot that way, because of the kick. My leg has more control of it and my arm rises with the kick making the target not get hit where I want. So it's easier for me.

@SW-User question for you,are you an artist and do you switch hand's often,or do you have one that's more dominant?

I just use whatever hands convenient. For grabbing, eating I mostly use left. For writing, punching I mostly use right.
