How u react If ur best friend or boyfriend/girlfriend died 😮

One of my best friends actually comitted suicide 8 years ago. It took almost a year to get over it, and I still miss her.

That did happen when I was 18.

It seemed surreal. How could it be true? She was so [b]young. [/b]. Since the majority of the young think they are immortal, it seemed like a crime against universal law. I had just received a letter from her, full of buoyancy and excitement and anticipation about the new life she'd started.

They deemed it suicide. I didn't believe that then and I don't now.

I'll let you know when my wife passes away in a few months or so.

Lost. My best of 20 years died in 2014. There will never be another like her. :(

I was in total shock back in 1988 when my best friend died in a car accident. I don't think anyone can really know how they would react if the one they love died until faced with it...but I imagine that if my wife died I'd be totally crushed and devastated (and how that would affect me and cause me to act or react I don't have a clue). I hope and pray that it is a very long time before I find out.

I can't even talk about it to this day. I was totally devastated.

Negativity

2 years later I still struggle with this. still can not describe just how horrible it was finding her (gone). After 35 years together it leaves a BIG hole in my life. It is slowly getting easier now though.

Probably the same as when my Brothers died unexpectedly. Really doesn't sink in until after all the funeral stuff is done and that first time you want to call or talk to them, and you can't.

It happens such grief and loss...it has never happened to me but it would be awful but I know people that it has happened too.

I think I would be destroyed if I lost my best friend. She’s more of a sister than friend being I’ve known her since I was 13.

My best friend is more like my brother, been that way since we met 14 years ago. I would be devestated.

they've gone to a better place … nothing you can do about it … be happy for them.

My best mate did,he was staying with me.Committed suicide.I loved him like a brother.

It'll break me and eventually I'll pick up the pieces and continue with life

When my ex dies that's to bad. But also no longer my issue.

One did. It was an ex though. Of course I got blamed. 🙄

I would be heart broken and sad but life goes on .

I dont even want to think about that!
