So although Microsoft claimed to remove the ability to do so, you can still upgrade your old copies of windows to Windows 10 for free using their Installation Media at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 Have to use the "Download tool now" download, not the normal update above it.

lol, it still upgrades your key and everything.
