Fake isn't always a bad thing unless it mentions credentials you're not trained for

i just watched a video on Fake Diplomas and BA Degrees being exposed by some news worthy research team , but what about people with the experience but little to none records of said experience like schooling background , what if its just like me with 20 yrs experience fixing computers and installing windows , finding drivers etc , Hands on experience only , how could i ever expect people to trust me with their computers to fix , without a diploma or BA in the subject , so the law does hinder people in some respects even honest and trust worthy people

No, not really. You SAY you have twenty years of experience, but how do we know? If fixing computers is your thing (and that's a great thing, btw), then take the tests to get your Microsoft certifications. That way you have M$ telling us that you know your stuff, not just you.

@sarabee1995 of course i would but i won't have it if people can't trust me

@FurryFace Then go get the certifications. Problem solved. The world needs independent third party certifications. Otherwise everyone just says they can do stuff when they can't.

@sarabee1995 i can do what i say i can but recently even tried some online site that sends me job opportunities but most places want people that speak both languages French and English and are able to fix cell phones and wifi stuff which i know next to nothing about plus these jobs are way too far away like downtown Montreal or st laurent , i got no car
I've done a lot of computer work and most of the people I worked with don't have any certifications or degrees. That piece of paper doesn't mean they can be trusted.

That trust is earned as you do good work. A good reputation is worth more than a piece of paper.

@AcidBurn true , i've watched videos on so called Qualified technicians like the Geek Squad and other places that fix computers and they rip off people quite often , removing parts and putting shittier ones in , saying they need a new motherboard or hard drive when there's really nothing wrong with them , the watch team even send a computer in and purposely loosened the hard drive wire and this wasn't even seen during the technicians inspection
@FurryFace geek squad is a scam. I know someone that works there. "we just google everything"

My ex claimed to know how to fix cars but he could go through several parts before finding out what was wrong with it and that got expensive.

@cherokeepatti lol the old trial and error method

@FurryFace It would have been cheaper to take it to a shop & had it fixed.
