Monthly crush update
Its been 3 months now since I left the office.
About the crush.... everything was going okay until about a week ago. He made some lighthearted joke about me posting lovey dovey pics on social media with my future husband (whenever I do get married).
I like being teased about marriage but.... his lighthearted joke gave me the impression that he does not see himself marrying me, and is fine with the idea of me being with someone else.
I.... didn't like it.
And that got me thinking that I should try my best to only treat him as I treat my other guy friends.
So, the daily prayer custom is off the window. The amount of texts I sent have also come down. I reply if and when he texts me. And he doesn't do it much. It MAY be because he was busy with his brother's wedding. It may also be that he barely noticed my absence.
I had told myself that I would confess my feelings if he just asked me once why I got so silent. But no, he never asked.
It's been 3 days since we last texted.
I am trying to be resigned to the situation.
Let's see how this goes.
But....
A few weeks ago he also called me on some measly context.
Small things still keep the flicker of hope alive.
Everytime my phone buzzes, I hope it's him but it isn't.
Oh well.
Anyway I am mad busy with my own work and for that reason I am glad he is not in the picture. I wouldn't have been able to focus.
