Would it be creepy to trick or treat at 19 years old?

Just seeing the kids walking around looking so happy with buckets of candy has made me miss it really bad. I felt like I was going to cry because I'll never be able to do it again.

Yes you can, just go to Walmart and buy a candy bag for $9. Trick or Treating done.

I am 48 and I feel like that every year.

I'm with you, we should protest this unwritten law, adults should be allowed to trick or treat, that's ageism. maybe they could offer a shooter or a bonghit to the adults

@paper there is overlapping between "adult" and "teenager", at 19 you are both.

You should absolutely go trick or treating. Here kids of all ages stop by and say hello. One guy just walked up and made himself a plate of food. OMG it was hilarious.

Build a door frame with a door in it. Dress like an old granny. Place a sign on the door saying please knock. Take this set up door to door with your own bowl of candy. When the people at the house you knocked on knock on your door open it and gush about the adorable trick or treaters. Give them some candy and move on to the next house.
This might take a couple of friends to pull off, but you can reverse trick or treat and supply both the trick and the treat.

As long as you're with children, you can act like you're just being their guardian.

Just volunteer to take a kid in your family to go out trick or treating.
When I was about 12-13 or so 18 - 19 year old girls came to the door dressed .......ua. well needless to say I just gave them candy looked down and closed the door glad that it was over. I never seen a girl like that in person, let alone give candy and have to deal with them.

Aww i'm sorry. I know how you feel. At our age, all we can really do is go to Halloween parties for people around our age. I went to one myself and dressed up even. I'm 22 btw. It was awesome.

Yes, now you gotta wait until you have a kid to chaperone

I think 12 is the cut-off age.
