Should birthright citizenship be revoked?

"Anchor Babies" is what that phenom is called.
It's not about revoking existing, it's about stopping more in the future. Being an immigrant myself, I think you should have to be in the country legally to qualify.

If you are an illegal immigrant giving birth here shouldn't grant the child automatic citizenship. That is not a smart policy in my opinion.

Absolutely! For new ones . The others ... if the parents are not working and only living off the system... they should all go back ! It will stop a lot of the illegal alien issues... like then becoming an anchor baby . One parent must be a citizen prior to birth for the child to be considered a citizen too, or the whole Family should be sent back . We have too many homeless / indigent Americans that deserve our help long before illegal aliens do .

It should be modified the correct way. As it is the procedure is a mess for immigrant families and the US alike. Only citizens should give birth to citizens.
