do you think mcdonalds should have their own union and make 15 dollars an hour

cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Sure and when they all go out of business cause no one wants to pay even more for unhealthy food then I'll celebrate.

@SeanColorado they kind of run companies to the ground
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
They are making $15.00 an hour here. The price of everything is going up so their minimum wage will still be minimum wage.

@badapple Canada
well maybe its because theres too much taxation in canada
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@badapple yes we gave way too much taxation in Canada but in all honesty its called cost of living. The average human simply requires so much life energy (money) to live. Minimum wages are always minimum wages since inflation takes care of the rest.

keep in mind most franchise owners all already pretty well off, many will shut the "restaurants down" most of their workers don't even deserve minimum wage

No. Those assholes always forget to give me fucking ketchup even though I ask for it when I order.

Hell no, I worked in McDonald's when I was in college for three years, the easiest job of my life.
SheikYerbouti · 51-55, M
No. Who wants to pay more for a hamburger?
They can’t even toast muffins or serve coffee warmer then piss..
I’d be hard balling down not up..
Not sure it’s meant to be a career choice.. but with technology replacing jobs at a rapid rate and school leavers and migrants competing for jobs.. employers can pay less.. and any pay raises will get passed onto the customers who are already grinding an axe at the shitty service you get..

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout well even now they are having computers replacing people behind the counters at those places
TheSacredOne · 36-40, M
They will never let them do it. Anyone who tries will just be fired and replaced. Places like that deem their workers disposable anyway
hunkalove · 61-69, M
Definitely. And if a Big Mac cost $10 America would be a healthier place.
