Since your mom wasn't a good mom, you know exactly what not to do. Trust yourself and your instincts. You got this.

Neither children, nor parents, come with instructions.
Just bear in mind, you have a lifetime of experience dealing with things, it's all new to the kid.

I had a crappy mother and an equally bad g'ma too.
I didn't think I had it in me to be any better and I chose [b][i]not[/i][/b] to have children of my own.
Having said that, my sister, had 2 and [b][i]she's[/i][/b] a spectacular mom.

Their shortcomings don't need to be yours too.

Why would you! Your not them, If you feel that... Then Chang, be yourself! strive to be a better mother, prove that to your children, and the others to be wrong!
