If your supposed best friend got a new best friend would you start distancing yourself from them?

Just look for the signs. Is he inviting you out a lot less than he used to? Does it seems he now spends way more time with them? If so then i'm sorry but you know your answer. I had a best friend completely halt all contact with me for a month and each time I checked in on her, she was out with her new bestie. I distanced myself from them and they didn't notice and I would do it again. These kinds of situations are tragic.

Lol jealousy is a monster indeed, also it doesn't make sense: if you're a good friend you want your friend to be happy, not only to be happy when you're around. Just be happy for him and join the fun it's friendship not marriage it doesn't have to be a monogamy.
