You won the lottery $80 million after taxes.

What would you do the first week? The first month? 3 months? 6 months and the first year. Be as specific as you want.
I’d buy myself a mobile home, so I’d have privacy, on its own lot.
I’d make a few investments.
Help kids pay for college.
Give to animal shelter or two.
I’d give the four kids, $60,000 each.
I’d give to the poor.
I’d help the homeless. I have the plan in my head, where they could get free help to get clean, get a job, and be able to get their own place to rent. It would be a very large building, non-profit organization.
I’d help different people with different needs....cars, expenses for cancer patients, charities, medical bills...
Start my own business like an auto mechanics shop, so people could have employment. Have my own garage for that and maybe train people, so they could start their own business.
Much more. I’m cramped for time right now. lol
And I’d take the Swiss Train Tour

First week, simply find a safe place to keep it. And put enough away that I could do absolutely nothing for the rest of my life if I so choose. (3+ million might do at least if you're willing to life normally)

First month, figure out what the hell I want to do with the rest of my life. Probably include retiring for my current job.

3 - 6 months, find a good investment that I understand and would want to hire experts to run. Maybe in the right area with lots of people, a bar or something... making sure it's an LLC or limited so people can never get the money that I don't imvest into it.

And hope it made a profit. I'd try to live off the business profit, and just save the rest or smart conservative investments.
Yes....that LLC is very important. Good job.@Viper

@LadyGrace Thanks :D
First thing I’d do is make sure the Lord got His tithe out of it. I did that first thing, last time I had a large amount. He deserves it. He comes first, in all. And I do it with my check each month.

I don't wait a week or even to many days
I find needy people and start giving it away
All my needs are already met ,I never want to forget that
So if I have it ,its to bless others
I only had 9 grand and I helped people a year with it ,no telling what I could do with 80 million ,Many people would be praising God I assure you .
I already know ,money changes me if I indulge myself with it
I would find as many ways as I could to do good with it ,maybe even take the distribution of it out of my hands ,have someone I know I could trust to oversee it
But I would not enable people to count on it ,or crooks to pad their pockets with it ,it would help people become self reliant ,not enable them to look for hand outs ,,
It could go quick paying for life saving procedures for kids ,I would not prolong the suffering of the elderly ,keeping them alive ,but no chance of any quality of life ,,,now if I could give them quality of life thats a different story .

I know of some places right off that could us the help
as to making provisions for myself ,,that would defeat the purpose of living by faith ..
I did that once before ,after having back surgery ,I went back to work
and soon I was bragging on myself for my comeback ,and forgot all the promises I made that I would do if I just survived the surgery .
And soon a little sliver of bone in my shoulder showed me who was boss and it wasn't me ,I know it was a direct result of not following through on my promises
I learned my lesson ,,,I won't forget who blessed me again
no matter how much money it is .
If He let me have that much cash ,I know exactly what He would want me to do with it ..
And it would not include storing up treasures on earth for myself

The first week I would contact a home security company and have my home secured with 24 hour live watch. I would also hire a private guard. Then I would take the guard with me when I went to see a tax and estate lawyer /accountant to discuss how to manage the money.

The first month I would spend looking for a new house, which I would also have secured. I would go through a LOT of magazines and cut out photos, and then hire a good interior designer to furnish the place properly.

The first six months would be spent in consults with the designer (and possibly contractor).

The first year I would spend researching investment opportunities. I think it would be a lot of fun, for example, to own my own clothing design company and hire several designers full time.

I would put $10M in a readily accessible interest bearing personal expense account . The other 70 I would invest . The interest / dividends off those investments ( after taxes ) would fund my benevolence account ... one from which I could help others with. It might tKe a year or two to develop.
Forgot one. I’d help the abused. I’d set up my own women’s shelter, get them on their feet and a good job. Abused men could get help, too.

Get out of debt. Do the same for all of my friends and family. Buy property and build a house and homestead. Become self sufficient and live off grid. Setup some income generating investnents. Setup and finance a cat rescue center. I'd build a kickass workshop and spend the rest of my life building and inventing things. I'd use the leftover money to do charitable acts for people I felt were deserving as well as invest in small business startups that I feel benefit society. Maybe some kind of scholarship program too.
Smart thinking. Like it all, but loved the cat rescue center. 😆 @Dolimyte

I'd give a tithe to charities.
Then I'd buy each of my kids (we have 5) a house and car each.
I'd also get us a nicer house.
Then I'd retire and go back to school to study things I always wanted to.

first week consult a financial consultant and decide who'll I'll share with. First month, scout out some land to build a home and tree house and get building plans, etc. Six months build the home, hopefully finished by then, move in and decorate. Have an Atlas storm shelter installed too. Take a trip and maybe road trips during decent weather times.

@Stereoguy I'd like to build tiny homes for the working poor, real estate is too expensive now. Feel for people struggling to pay rent and expenses.

Easy. First week: leave my home for 60+ days until the media is gone. During that time, I’d get an attorney and accountant that I’d trust (not too hard for me, I know a few). Then I’d set up a trust fund for my family (only certain people). Then I’d live as frugally as I do now. I’m young. I’ll need the money as I get older.

Buy a yacht, take it into international waters, have a massive party. I think that covers the whole year 😂

Disappear into the night forever. And that's all you or anyone will ever know.
50% to St. Judes, then share the wealth with my immediate family

I'm going to be honset I would be a bit selfish

I heard that possessing a large sum of a money you'll need multiple banks? So I would get my credit card paid off, tution, help my dad with his bills, get clothes I need, buy a house and save the rest.

Edit: Also, I would donate to a child abuse organization and to endangered animals
