This seems a common problem with forum and contact sites, but SW does have its leavers, so unless they were all banned there must be a way.

If there is no specific "End Account" choice, then more constructively than getting yourself banned from SW, is to delete your Friends list and any photos, turn off all your groups, re-write your profile to say only "I have left - Goodbye"...

.....then stop using the site, and block notifications!


It is not in a social-media site's commercial interest to lose users.

Like many social web-sites SW, or the host, is watched by advertising agencies. A recent thread on cats, for example, prompted the side-bar to display ads for cat-food.

I cannot speak for SW's policy, but as a general rule and especially for sites like Facebook and Twitter, users and their details are commercially valuable. (I do not need or want, and refuse to use, FB and T.)

Beyond individual web-sites, companies like Google trawl your social-media use to tell retailers all about you. They even resort to profiling individuals artificially, beyond what those people have actually posted, questionable on both accuracy and morality.

Bombard the ADMINS with porn

Getting banned is the only way. Don't waste your time with emailing Support.
